Men's Fellowship:
Men's Fellowship breakfast is held at 9:00 am on the second Saturday of each month at Hide-A-Way Café on Beechtree at Washington. The next meeting will be Saturday, October 14th.

Church Mice: 
Meets every second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 8:30 am at Russ' and then over to the church at 10:00 am to work on special projects. This month's meetings will be on September 12th and 26th.

Spiritual Life and Evangelism Committee:    
Meets on the second Thursday of the month at 10:00 am. The next meeting will be Thursday, October 12th.

Veteran's Recognition Sunday: 
The Spiritual Life will honor any friends, relatives and members of our congregation that have served or are currently serving in the military. The recognition date will be on Sunday, November 5th during the service. If you know of someone who should be recognized in our PowerPoint please drop off a picture with the following information:
  1. Your Name
  2. Name of the Person in the Picture
  3. Brief Military History (branch, years served etc.) 
Please drop this off either to the church office, any member of Spiritual Life or email Shelly Svoboda (msvoboda1@charter.net). The deadline for any pictures is Thursday, November 2nd.

CROP Walk: 
The 43rd Annual Tri-Cities Hunger CROP Walk will take place on Sunday, October 1st. The walk will begin at Spring Lake Christian Reformed Church. Packets will be available for pickup during the month of September. Please consider participating by either walking or becoming a sponsor. See any member of the Spiritual Life Committee for more information. The address for the church is listed below.

Faith Circle:  
Meets the third Wednesday of each month with devotions and treats.  All ladies of the church are welcome to attend. The next meeting will be Wednesday, October 18th at 10:00 am.

Building and Grounds:
Meeting every second Sunday of each month at 11:15 am in the library following the service. The next meeting will be on Sunday, October 8th.



Raise the Roof Fundraiser: 
We are planning to replace the flat roof over the Fellowship Hall and other parts of the church. The first phase of the roof has been completed!!
  • Watch for more events and fundraisers in the Bells newsletter over the coming months. Please help us Raise the Roof to keep dry!

The second half of the project (east areas of the church) will be done sometime in the near future

Theology and Brew Nights:
Come and join Pastor Matt at the Grand Armory located on Franklin and 2nd Street on Tuesday evenings at 8:00 pm for theological discussions over beverages of your choice. All opinions are welcome and respected


Bible Study:
Everybody is welcome to join Pastor Matt for a Wednesday morning Bible Study beginning at 10:00 am in the sanctuary for thoughtful discussions on the Act of the Apostles. This study requires no homework, just presence and will last no more than an hour each week. On Faith Circle Wednesdays there will be NO bible study.

See Ross Underberg for exact rehearsal times or if you have any questions. Tentative rehearsal times are listed below, and could change at any time. New members→ both men and women are always welcome to grow our choir!

Church Event Planning Guide:
Prior to any scheduled events or activities in the church, a Church Event Planning Guide form should be completed by the Committee and/or individual in charge of the function.  Completion of this form will better coordinate our building use and custodial services that are needed.  Forms are available from the church office or on the table in Fellowship Hall.


Communion: 
We serve communion on the first Sunday of every month as well as any special occasions. See the Bells Newsletter or the weekly bulletin for the exact dates when we are holding communion.
